uniloc female tap - which size to use

Hi I would like to tap a thread for a uniloc female shaft insert. Just wondering which size thread tap I would need to use?

7/16x20.......

I'm hoping and Mike is assuming that you want a tap for the exterior threads.
Mike is correct in that the ext. thread is 7/16x20.
You won't find a tap for the interior thread.
