I have an old united coin op table in the rec room above my garage.
My wife has recently taken an interest in pool so we have decided to move it into the house.
We seldom play it (I usually just play at the local pub and pool hall) and i've noticed about all the cushions are bad and it needs recovered.
I plan on disassembling the table and taking the rails to a local place that deals with this kind of stuff.
After talking to them I was quoted a price of $500 otd for somonis 860 cloth, have them replace/recover all the cushions and then I would do the bed myself.
Does this sound reasonable?
Theres a couple guys on our league that do this on the side but I dont know if I should even mess with asking them as the place that quoted me $500 has been in business since the 60's and are custom table + cue builders. Not to mention they are a locally owned business which I dont mind to support.
Their price on the cloth was $270- I can get it online for $205 free shipping and no tax, my main problem is I cant find rails for this table anywhere on the web even if I was to have one of the league player do it.
