I was thinking & a postal employee walking out of a bulk mail center with a two piece cue in his hands is pretty slim if impossible. You have to pass through a guard turnstile when your shift ends. One or more guards watch you pass through. My hunch is its in the lost/damaged mail dept. I have seen postal workers rip open small packages & pocket the contents. They do this when in the trailer getting ready to move out in a few hours. Only seen this about 3 times though. All in all USPS is fairly safe IMO.
