universal smart shaft and OB-1 shafts

is anyone familiar with how these shafts play? Thinking of trying them out? Anyone deal in them?

The ob 1 has several threads here. You could search for them. It is low deflection with a softer hit and better fine control. I have a low squirt universal as well. It has a little more deflection and a harder hit, but makes balls as well. What you have to look out for is splitting the joint by hitting the tip on the table or any rough treatment. We've had 2 come back broken......

i shot some balls with both at Valley Forge.. IMO, i like the smart shaft better... i didnt care for the ob1 as much..

I broke with a smart shaft and it came apart. Thumbs down. Never tried Ob-1 all I've heard is good things.

Actually, you can't use the search function from this site because "ob1" is not enough characters; you can't search for words less than 4 letters.

But it didn't come up with much. I don't know why.
