Universal Smart Shaft

Whatever happened to the Universal Smart Shaft? I never hear anyone commenting on them like other shafts. I bought one years ago when they first came out (TX-8, 11.75 mm), that I really like for larger tables and banking. Just wondering, seems like a really good shaft, kinda heavy, need to rebalance cue if you use one.

My son uses one and loves it. I picked it up about a year ago. I haven't really paid attention since.

I think i saw it mentioned that Lucasi makes those shafts now , if i'm wrong i know someone will correct me:smile:.

Cue & Case had them made for them, but has since dropped the thread adapter concept and is now selling them with a fixed joint thread (and some other minor changes) as a Lucasi Hybrid shaft. Lucasi is also a Cue & Case brand.
