  1. My father has a cue he bought in Queens NY sometime between 1968-1971. It had 2 shafts, but unfortunately one of the shafts was stolen along with his case at a Pool Hall in LIC, NY in the early 90's. When he bought it he was told it was German but who knows? The remaining shaft is still straight it has held up EXTREAMLY well. It had some minor dings on the finish in the butt and it still has the Original wrap on it which I am thinking of having re-wraped for him. Long story short we really don't know what the heck kind of Cue it is. If anyone can help it is GREATLY appreciated.

Here are some pictures of it!

  2. And here is his 1989-1990 Joss we would love to know the Model of the Cue and if anyone might have an assumed value.

Here are some pictures of it!

  3. Just to throw it in i have also put pictures of my CR-19 Joss that I have just recived.

Here are some pictures of it!

Thanks to all that can help!!!!

Number 1: Is an Adam. They used the two-tone wraps and the sharp joint pin.

Number 2: You should e-mail Dan Janes at Joss. He is usually very responsive and helpful.

Number 3: Nice cue!

Pizza Bob strikes again and he is right on. It's an early Adam cue. I've seen a number of these cue with no Lion logo. I assume the decal's been sanded off in a refinish but I have seen enough to suspect that the early cues had no logo.

Properly described, documented and advertised, I would guess it's worth $300 - $400. These cues are commonly erroneously identified as Palmers, which they are not.

I looked up the model - It's a A/H-8 Blackstone. Ebony, MOP, and rosewood. The Bluebook lists it at $250 in 98% condition but like I said, they've been going a little higher.
