Unknown Player Beat Bucktooth For $10,000

Yobagua,

Yup. You've seen him alright. I agree with you too about the Efren/Bucktooth comparison. I respect Bucktooth's abilities but I admire Efren.

Did anyone mention that they were betting on Bucktooth? Did it ever occur to you that Bucktooth was in cahoots with the little Asian guy and a railbird betting for the asian guy? If he was then that was another good hustle though.

I saw Bucktooth make a mess of Scott Frost. I think Scott is a great one pocket player but Tooth doesnt play pool. HE GAMBLES! ... But do not ever underestimate this man.

Any details on the matchup with Scott Frost? How'd they play, how much, and what happened?

I dont know about Scott Frost but that Asian guy was really stupid to leave so soon. He could have won so much money he would have needed a forklift to carry it all away. There was about 7 or 8 guys betting the rail, myself, Billy Palmer and George Michaels among them. I'd like to know who that guy was so I can thank him for fattening up my bankroll HAHAHAHAHA. He has a armband tatoo and a earring. Anyone know him??? He dont know what a gold mine he left behind. He hit the lottery playing Bucktooth and could have become California's newest millionaire. Maybe he will come back to beat Bucktooth some more so he can retire young.

I don't know about everyone else but this sounds like some bait to get some guys down to play this bucktooth fella!

When someone starts saying "he should have stayed longer" he could have won "a truckload of cash" etc it sounds too obvious!

I just read the book called "Playing Off The Rail, A Pool Hustler's Journey". Great book. It talks a lot about Bucktooth and his exploits if anyone is interested. Also talks about Harry Platis, Billy Incardona, Grady, The Monk, McCready...it's a trip.

Pookie Rasmeloungo.........look up that name under player finder on here and see if thats the guy who busted Bucktoothy.........i heard he went out west and had a good score, just saw him the other night

Playing off the rail

GREAT book, very entertaining. would recomend it to everyone

Yea thats the guy. Pookie Rasmeloungo. I never knew someone could be so stupid to leave so much money behind. Maybe he felt guilty for winning so easy or maybe he dont like lots of money. He could have come home with big ol' bales of $$$.

Oh Oh. The picture of Pookie shows Keith. And when I was reading the above I kept thinking of Keith. Probably because I just watched COM. Anyway I'll bet there are players heading west looking for Bucktooth thinking if Pookie can beat Bucktooth then so can they. It will be interesting to see who matches up with Bucktooth next. Jake

Pookie may have been given the line on who he was playing after the fact. He may have been told that the spot was out of line and that could be why he left

All those unknown East Coast players who can beat Pookie should jump on the next plane, train, or whatever, come out to California and look for Bucktooth. No need to stop and play tournaments along the way, just beat Bucktooth and spend the next few years counting up all the bales of money they'll win.

A so-so hustler only hustles his adversary on the other end of the table. A good hustler hustles everyone in the poolhall. That kind of reputation Bucktooth has could only be talked about in the Philippines post-mortem.

This Asian, what's his age, height, built, hair? Does he look more like Pagulayan or more like Django? Pagulayan can pass off as Vietnamese.

Scenario 1: Whoever this Asian guy is, his taking the money and running is not stupidity. As Magicians say, never do the same trick twice in a show. Bucktooth sold you guys down the drain.

Scenario 2: Bucktooth made an investment. If the Asian is wealthy, or he has a wealthy financier, that loss was a come-on.

Scenario 3: Bucktooth just had a bad night.

Probability done in descending order.

i didnt get a chance to talk to Pookie about his score, but, just out of curiosity, how did Bucktooth wanna match up with him in one pocket?........did Bucktooth want the same kind of weight he was getting in 9 ball or was he offering to play even?

Pookie/ 1-hole

I have seen Pookie play one-pocket and it is his weakness. He really shouldn't be caught playing it for $$, much less spotting someone.

If I were (you are) trying to get him down, his one-pocket is well below his 9-ball.

Jack it up.
