Unknown sneaky ID help

I’m sure this is a complete unknown, but I figured I would post it anyway.

I found this at a thrift shop yesterday. It is light, fat and feels stiff.

Hard to tell from the pics, but the joint and buttcap are black linen phenolic.

Maybe a conversion. Looks very similar to the Dufferine house cues I used to have.
