Unknown Titlist- Help Identify

Firstly, thank you for sharing your knowledge of Titlist cues with the masses. Your website has provided Titlist lovers like myself a ton of knowledge to glean from. With regards to the cue, you're right about it being converted from a one-piece Titlist, based on the fact that the wrap's channel begins close to the bottom of the points. Nailing down the production year of this cue was something I've always wondered about. Thanks!

Thanks degam088! I was beginning to think, based on feedback from 'he who shall remain nameless', that I was a total b*stard who provided nothing useful to the forum (I personally think 'semi-b*stard' is more accurate).

BTW - your post inspired me to get out my old Titlist conversion that was done back in the '50s or '60s. I studied the heck out of it and still have no good ideas as to the maker - some of these mysteries will never be solved!

Mine is very similar to a '50s Hoppe 2-piece, right down to the joint, but has a slightly shorter leather wrap, a longer butt (very unusual), and a buttcap that appears to have been made out of an old Bakelite cue ball.
