unknown vintage cue

Hi everyone. I recently acquired this cue and was wondering if anyone might have any clue as to the builder or some idea of what it is worth. There are 36 inlays in the butt and forearm. Craftsmanship seems to be quite professional. Not exactly sure what kind of joint it is but is some sort of quick release. The condition of the cue is in my opinion around 70%. It hits and plays well but finish is worn. I was thinking of trying my hand at refinishing this cue but I don't want to if it is something of real value. Any help in identifying this or at least some idea of what it is worth would be greatly appreciated.

It's a Viking for sure. I've seen the model before, I don't recall which exact model it is though.
The joint pin is a 5/16x18 quick release joint made by Viking.
My estimated value, in that condition, would be around $100-125.
It appears someone attempted to carve ST into the butt sleeve.

Thank you Dave. Exactly what I was looking for. Its something that I'm pretty sure I can make better but I wouldn't want my first attempt to be on an expensive cue.
