unmarked cue on e-bay-what is it?

could be an old joss or scruggs. ive seen a tillis like that before but probably isnt. take care.
 
I would say they are gambling on it being a old Joss West. But Adams built a lot of cues very similar also. So it is either Gold or Pyrite.

I'm pretty sure it's an old Joss but pre Stroud/janes split. I had one with the same ring work but with an ivory joint. The thing I question is the rings at the joint don't match the ones on the butt. The one I had did and It was stamped JOSS on the butt plate. So your guess is as good as mine :) . It is going a lot higher than I thought it would/should.

Im kinda suprised I guessed the same thing since Im only familiar with Joss and Scruggs cues. But that was my guess as well
 
It is not a Joss West according to Bill Stroud, so who knows what it really is. I am curious myself.
