[Up-to-Date] DC++ - Current POOL - Hubs

Hello everybody,

I have just configured dc++ and want to share some of my pool videos now. Some pool-hubs I have tried are dead at this time, e.g. gottochblandat.no-ip.com and poolandbilliards.dyndns.org.

Because I am a newbie in dc++ I may ask you to post good dc++-hubs here, where the people share some poolvideos.

You're right, both those hubs are down at the moment. I don't think there are any others right now, so just wait and see. I'll post here if there are any updates.
 
I'm always on a hub called A+ hub, you can get my pool files on there any time. Nick is crawdaddio1hole.

Maybe we could get everyone going over to that hub--it's never been down since I've been on it--about 3 months.

Thanks for that hint, crawdaddio! Im on A+ now. Anyhow a pool-only hub would be great.

Okay, I'm on A+ now too. The other hubs are still down. We should really get a dedicated hub up again, but until we find something permanent I guess we'll all make like the nomades and move.
 
No one in here willing to put up a private dc++ server for pool only ? I think you just need a computer which is online all the time. I don't know how much traffic these dc++ hubs are taking, but the files aren't going through it, only the file list information etc.
 
Well guys, I got booted from A+ for sharefaking(which I have not done). I have been moving files around, and I guess the bot thought I was faking somehow, I don't know. Anyways, I'll be off for awhile while I reformat some stuff. I can usually be found on ROOTS MASSIVE as well.

I tried to get in, but i don't have the gig of files required. I had a hard drive failure and i'm on a new one now, so i don' have the 10-12 gigs i used to... So i'll have to find another download client, and get some of that stuff back on there...

It's just not fair...

what we need is a bittorrent forum/site check into it that's how i get most everything else besides pool

I use bt.easytree.org a lot. It is a music torrent site, bootlegs and non-commercial releases, no MP3s allowed. They do have music videos and docs, so I don't see why they wouldn't allow pool videos, as long as it was NEVER officially released. They have a yahoo group also that you can access through the main site. If anyone is interested I could ask in the message board if anyone minds pool videos going up on that server. Just let me know. I agree that the torrents may work better than the DC ++, the hubs were VERY slow for me and getting a connection was difficult. I have yet to have any problems with the torrents.

Well I did some investigating and the easytree site ONLY allows music related torrents, but I did find one at http://demonoid.com/torrents.php that will allow any theme of torrents. I have never used this site before. Has anyone else?

Hey all, I'm back on A+ hub.
It seems that DC++ v.403 has alot of bugs and that's why some of you and others couldn't get my files.
I talked to the operator at A+ and installed revconnectdc++ and I think the problem is fixed.

If you guys haven't checked out this version, I highly recommend it.
It supports multiple source downloads. I just got a 700MB movie in about 15 minutes......................................awesome..

I would be interested in this as well...I recently formatted also, luckily I saved my data on another drive..so I have about 12 gigs worth of pool vid...and am anxious to get back in and share away.

crawdaddio what hub do you connect to? I just installed dc++ and finally figured out how to connect to hubs. I'd love to mooch off you a little :D I do not have any pool videos on my computer but I have some other stuff you may be interested in.

Thanx a lot! I'll try and play around with it in the morning and see what happens. Maybe I'll be connected by the evening, LOL. Do you think my firewall will cause probs again? I can't do anything about it do to it being my work computer. :(
