hi guys,
I remember some of you guys asked who are the other unknown players from the philippines who can make a top tier player a run for the money. aside from jeff de luna, watch out for mike takayama. he has the same caliber of that of Wu or even better since he plays not only 9 or 8 ball , but also rotation. as long as they forbid the use of jump shots, Wu ain't got a chance against him. by the way, he's just a youngster. a few months older than Wu. He placed 3rd in the Philippine Open among hundreds of participants. you can check in the internet which fellow philippino top tiers he defeated during that tournament. another one is Renemar David, this kid is younger than Wu and Mike. being young that he is, Wu and Mike had some slight edge on this kid but not to be taken for granted. He made an excellent run at the 2006 junior 9-ball, being the lone representative of the philippines. undefeated during the elimination round, just got unlucky though during the quarter-finals. he got some dry breaks during that match. I dunno if they will participate in this year's WPC or next year's DCC tournament since they are still youngsters. Mike can be a possibility. these 2 are to be watched out for in the near future. by the way, these kids are shooters.
