The Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour is at Diamond Eight Billiards in Latham, NY this weekend with 37 players competing for a $4,960 total prize fund.

Some notable players in the field include Dennis Hatch, Joey Korsiak, Chance Chin, Bucky Souvanthong, Evan Broxmeyer, Tom Acciavatti, Redgie Cutler, Norm Pomainville, Mike Zuglan and AzB's own Lyn Wechsler.

They are down to the final eight players and Sunday’s matches starting at noon are;

On the Winners Side:
Chance Chin vs Dennis Hatch
Tom Acciavatti vs Joey Korsiak

On the One Loss Side:
Redgie Cutler vs Mike Zuglan
Lyn Wechsler vs Norm Pomainville

Also, Mike Zuglan is taking entries for the recently announced Turning Stone Classic 9-Ball Open events scheduled for February 22th thru 25th, 2007 and August 16th thru 19th, 2007 respectively, at the beautiful Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY.

These $25,000 added events will surely fill fast and are limited to the first 128 paid entries. Both events require a pre-entry and you MUST contact Mike Zuglan to enter!

Remember, the previous seven Turning Stone events were filled to capacity with many players being "shut out", so enter early!

The Turning Stone is a non-alcohol serving casino which means you only need to be 18 to gamble on the casino floor. All ages are welcome in the Event Center and spectator admission is FREE.

They were down to the final eight players and Sunday’s matches starting at noon were;

On the Winners Side:
Dennis Hatch over Chance Chin 9-2
Joey Korsiak over Tom Acciavatti 9-2

and then Dennis Hatch over Joey Korsiak 9-4

Dennis Hatch was in the hot seat!

On the One Loss Side;
Mike Zuglan over Redgie Cutler 9-8
Norm Pomainville over Lyn Wechsler 9-6

then:

Chance Chin over Mike Zuglan 9-8
Norm Pomainville over Tom Acciavatti 9-4

and then:

Chance Chin over Norm Pomainville 9-6

then:

Joey Korsiak over Chance Chin 9-4

So then it came down to Dennis Hatch and Joey Korsiak in the finals.., true Double Elimination Format.

Dennis Hatch defeated Joey Korsiak in the first set. 9-7
