Jay, or anyone who knows,

I sponsored a one handed challenge shot in the AZB Room. Did anyone win that yet? If not, any good "almosts"?

And I think there was supposed to be a one handed last pocket 8 ball tourney that I partially sponsored. Any updates?

I couldn't come to DCC, so I just wanted to sweat the action from here.

I can't give you much of an update except to tell you the one handed last pocket 8-ball started at 12 noon. Jay expected it to take 2-3 hours with 8 players and single elimination. Everyone played better than he expected and I managed to win that event. It took somewhere around an hour.
I got back down there yesterday and watched matches and played just a little in the room. Thanks for supporting the events. Stay safe over there. I'm sure more updates will be coming. Sam

Good job Sam! Yah, I figured a few people would be surprised by how well some people play one handed. It's really not all that different than two handed, if you have a rock solid stroking action. My wife knew I played pretty good a few days after she met me, but it was when I handicapped myself by playing one handed last pocket 8 ball that she realized: There are many many different layers of players, and playing in the bars, she had seen none of those levels. I told her I would have absolutely no chance against a top pro at that time..

Well, hopefully, there will be an update on the challenge shot. I tend to think that one didn't last long either, as well as the AZ'ers play..
