i know some like to hear about her, so i got greath news again.
Khodjaeva Kamilla, a11y old belgium girl, who had been playing snooker from the age of 7 till the age of 11, started to play pool 3 months ago. her dad and very good friend/teampartner, told me about her, and i took her to a small local houstournament, and when i saw her stance, alignment, stroke from her first shot, i KNEW i had withnessed a future star. iv told her dad to maybe try to take her to a national female ranking event to see how she would manage...

here results in the National Female ranking of her first 3 months:

her first ranking event: Female national Ranking of april : 3th place
her second ranking event: Female national Ranking of may: 1st place
her third ranking event: Female national Ranking of june: 1st place. She won crusing true the quarters and semi finals with scores like 45-4, 45-8 (14-1) vs players who have over 2decades of poolexperience.

this kid is REALLY something to look out for. she is the most naturally talented player i know, AND she's only 11y AND only 3months of poolexperience.

i think this is an AMAZING performance, that should be noted. if she continues on this road, she might become one of the greatest internationally.

anyway, i wish her the BEST of luck and i wanted to tell everyone here about her, and updating info on how she is doing for those who asked.

ps: if u got 1minut, read the sticky about youth... maybe after reading this post and the sticky, ull be convinced of the importance of helping creating the right environment for these youngsters to develop themselves to a level far beyound our own small national fronteirs.

greats from solly

Great news, Solly. Keep us informed !

you are welcome :D

our new team that im helping setting up for the season start in september , will be pritty amazing.
the 11y camilla ( her younger sister (she can break and run too) might join later), her dad (a snooker referee, piramid pooltable builder, snookerplayer and poolplayer (a VERY good allround player)), a clubowner who makes regulary centuries in snooker and would like to start pool, and me. then there will be some reserves added.

Thanks Solly for the update.

She really was playing well during that ranking tournament and won the final 50-48 after being 40-48 behind. So she can handle some pressure even she is so young.

There's a funny situation at the moment in women rankings in Belgium; two of the top players are not even belgians and they most likely will be both in top 3 at the end of the year.

i expect katja, camilla and nancy/beate to be in the top3 seats at the end of this year. about the nationality. they all live in belgium for some years now. so its not like someone from another country just drives to belgium to win and then goes back home. i dont got any problem with it, even though i know some players have.

yup playing her final vs your wife isnt a easy task too. she surely can play like hell too. i saw it when she played the ranking with me sunday. she kicked out an 'sharking ***HOLE' out of the tournament using same sharking techniques with 6-2. how longs does katja play now? 10-20years? the girl has it, and both girls play amazing.

im not belgium either btw :D,

ps extra update: camilla her father won the mens ranking too now !!!!!!!!!!
WOW. he best result before was 5th. this familly is filled with naturals. man our new team will be DEVELISH !!!!!!!!! they are originair from ousbekistan (right spelling?)
