i know some like to hear about her, so i got greath news again.
Khodjaeva Kamilla, a11y old belgium girl, who had been playing snooker from the age of 7 till the age of 11, started to play pool 3 months ago. her dad and very good friend/teampartner, told me about her, and i took her to a small local houstournament, and when i saw her stance, alignment, stroke from her first shot, i KNEW i had withnessed a future star. iv told her dad to maybe try to take her to a national female ranking event to see how she would manage...
here results in the National Female ranking of her first 3 months:
her first ranking event: Female national Ranking of april : 3th place
her second ranking event: Female national Ranking of may: 1st place
her third ranking event: Female national Ranking of june: 1st place. She won crusing true the quarters and semi finals with scores like 45-4, 45-8 (14-1) vs players who have over 2decades of poolexperience.
this kid is REALLY something to look out for. she is the most naturally talented player i know, AND she's only 11y AND only 3months of poolexperience.
i think this is an AMAZING performance, that should be noted. if she continues on this road, she might become one of the greatest internationally.
anyway, i wish her the BEST of luck and i wanted to tell everyone here about her, and updating info on how she is doing for those who asked.
ps: if u got 1minut, read the sticky about youth... maybe after reading this post and the sticky, ull be convinced of the importance of helping creating the right environment for these youngsters to develop themselves to a level far beyound our own small national fronteirs.
greats from solly
