Update On World Poolmasters

I would of lost money on all three so far...

Shane losing surprises me more than Souqet for some reason...Jerry Forsyth talked up the Ko kid pretty good (Runout Radio- basically said he might take the game to new level of play) so maybe thats why.

Everybody is bound to have an off day, including Godzilla. He'll be back in no time for sure...

I just got to Vegas, watched the end of the SVB match, came in at 4-4 I think and never saw shane get an open shot. Majid played really solid.

Ko Pin-Yi played well against Ralf, one good safety battle which Ralf won after locking up Ko 3 times in a row to win the game with 3 straight fouls by Ko, aside from that, Ralf couldn't really get it goin' and Ko crushed him.

The match of the early session was Drago and Niels. They have a 35 second shot clock but I swear, when Tony is shooting I don't think he needs the 35 seconds for the entire GAME. The guy makes Lou Butera look like he's slow playin'....I've never seen anything like it. Tony got out to an early lead but Niels came rushin' back with a 3-pack I believe including the 9 on the snap...ended up hill-hill with Tony taking advantage of his opportunity to win 8/7. Also, Tony was the class act of the session, when Niels made a great shot to set up the shot to tie the match, Tony was clapping right along with the crowd...VERY classy, and jokin' a little with the crowd, the lovely ref Michaela and Niels.

I'll post some pictures after the evening session.

Joe
