The conclusion of the "Going To The Open" Tournament is coming to a close here at Pro-Tyme Billiards in Orland Park, IL tonight.
The event began again today at 12:00 Noon with Al Martinez, Jeff Beckley, Adam Smith and Ike Runnels in the Winners Brackets.
In the losers brackets were Mark Jarvis, Steve McAnnich, Jim Jeffers and Tony Gong.
As the day has progressed, we have seen in the winners bracket Mark Jarvis knocked 9-4 out by Steve McAnnich.
In the winners bracket, Adam (GQ) Smith knocked Ike Runnels into the losers bracket 9-4.
Beckley and Smith then played, with Smith knocking Beckley into the losers bracket 9-5.
Jim Jeffers Knocked out Tony Gong, 9-5.
Jeff Beckley put Al Martinez into the losers bracket 9-3 and then Steve McAnnich knocked out knocked out Al.
The upset of the day was when relatively unknown Jim Jeffers knocked out Ike Runnels On the hill, Ike missed a straight in 9 Ball in the side for the set.....Winner Jeffers 9-7
McAnnich then knocked out Jeffers and continued his winning streak by next eliminating Jeff Beckley as well.......
At this moment Adam (GQ) Smith is playing Steve McAnnich for the win...
