I am confused!

If this is an AZ special, why are two identical units for sale at the same price on e-bay? Selling your products at a cheap price is not what fellow AZers ment by you contributing to this forum.

good luck with the sale.
Jim.

I have already mentioned that in my add above. If you noticed I added those headstocks on AZ special, then edited my ebay listings with this lower price.
"Retail Price $650, AZ Members Sale Price $500 only 3 are avilable at this price, those headstocks, have 3 pressed fitted sealed bearings, and will fit directly on an taig based cue lathe no riser blocks required. There are 2 more units listed on ebay too for the same price."

Those are the last 5 headstocks I have left in that style. cause next week when the new style is released, it will be back at retail for $650 and $700 for the taller style Headstock. The quality of both generation headstocks is the same, the only changes are cosmetic, thanks for your input.
By the way there is only 2 left now, I sold one last night. This deal on those headstocks will never come around again. similar headstocks sells between $850 and $975 at other sites. Yo whom ever wants to upgrade to the 1.4" Bore Headstock, the time is now, take advantage of this offer.

Always Best Regards to everyone

Will that reverse work with Brianna's DC motor and controller?

technicaly it will work, but the connectors are different, I can make one for the briana motor, but you will need to send me pictures of it.
do it have a 110/220 black switch in the back side. if it does, then that is your reverse switch, the people who built that motor where too cheap to put a real switch on it, so they put a 110v/220v switch instead.
thats your reverse switch.

Okay. So let me ask you. I am looking for a basic motor setup to do some sanding and what not. What motor, controller, etc. should I look for? You dont sound completely sold on the one I mentioned.

First I would like to say that I have purchased motors like identical to brianas motor and it does have a reverse swith built in. if you have that motor call me and I can explain it to you @ 248-884-4469
The briana motor is a great choice for the job.
I have 3 motors that will work for your application, I also have basic finishig lathes starting @ $399.

As for your questions about the controllers. here it goes.
If you have an AC motor with a start Capacitor, You can't put a controler on that (Technically you can put a frequancy actuater, but its extremely expensive).
The AC motors that will take a speed controller are Brush and Brushless drive motors. you can use an Router speed controller on those. (usually they don't come reversable and you cant put reverse switch on them)
very few brushless motors are reversable.
DC motors: most DC motors come with reversable rotation, as for the speed controller, it really depends on the voltage, for all DC motors. The reverse switch is built the same way the onlything you would need it the mating connectors. The reverse switch I sell will work on any DC motor that says ROTATION : REV. Hope this helps.
