Updates on the DCC 9-Ball finals: SVB vs. Dennis Orcollo

I'll be providing updates in this thread on the DCC 9-ball finals for those of you not able to view the stream.
 
SVB wins the lag, makes two balls on the break, has a nice cut on the 1 in the side.

Shane makes the 1, but then overcuts the 3 in the corner and scratches cross side.
 
Orcollo breaks in rack 2, makes the 1 in the side, squats the cueball center table, and has a nice shot on the 2.
 
Orcollo makes the 2 and swings 3 cushions around for the 3.

Orcollo makes the 3, shoots the 4 in the corner and comes cross table for a shot on the 6. The 6,7, and 8 are all near the corner pocket.

Orcollo makes the 6 and swings the cueball two cushions out for nice shape on the 8.

Orcollo makes the 7, 8, and 9.

Dennis breaks in rack 3 and makes the 5 ball. Has a tough shot on the 1 bridging over the 3.

Pockets the 1 nicely, cuts the 2 down the rail for the 3.

Dennis pockets the 4 in the side and comes three cushions around for the 6 in the side. Hits it with good speed, pockets the 6 in the cornerm runs the 7,8, and 9.

Dennis breaks in rack 4, makes 2 balls and has a shot on the 1. Makes the 1 and comes back nicely for the 4. Makes the 4 in the corner, 5 in the side, 6 in the corner and 3 cushions around but hits it too easy. Has a long shot to cut the 7 down the rail in the corner.

Dennis hits the 7 perfectly and comes across table 2 cushions for the 8, pockets the 8 and 9 to go up 4-0.

Orcollo is on cruise control.
 
Dennis breaks in rack 5, makes the wing ball yet again, and has a shot on the 1. Cuts the 1 thinly in the side but hooks himself behind the 4.
 
Dennis can see the edge of the 3 and cuts it down the rail for a 3-7 combination. Beautiful shot.

Dennis makes the 3 and swings 3 cushions for the 4. Runs the 4,5,6, and 8.

Dennis pockets the 9 to break-and-run his 4th rack in a row.

Dennis breaks dry in rack 6. Shane gets to the table with a shot on the 1 but the table is cluttered.

Shane makes the 1 and plays for a very tough combo on the 9, and misses it.

Dennis at the table but the 4-5 are tied up.
 
Dennis hits the 2 hard into the corner to try and get shape, the ball rattles and the pocket spits it out.

Shane makes the 2 and gets an angle on the 3 to try and go into the 4-5.
 
Shane pockets the 3 and breaks out the 4, then plays safe on the 4 and leaves the cueball behind the 5.

Orcollo kicks 2 rails and almost pockets the 4, but hangs it up in the corner pocket.

Shane makes the 4, makes a 5-6 combo and plays very nice shape for the 5.

Shane runs out to get on the board.

Shane breaks and makes the wingball, loses his cueball going forward, and has a long shot down the rail on the 1. Shane makes the 1 and draws back nicely for the 3.
 
Shane trickles in the 3 and has shape on the 4.

Shane makes the 4, but loses his concentration and misses a very easy 5 ball.
 
Orcollo runs out to get to the hill.

Orcollo looks very focused and Shane looks spent.

Orcollo 6 SVB 1
 
Dennis breaks and makes the 4 ball, has a shot on the 1.

Dennis pockets the 1 and 2, has nice shape on the 3.
 
Dennis shoots the 3 in the corner, draws back for the 4 in the side. He makes the 4, 6, and 7, follows to end rail and back down for the 8.

Dennis pockets the 8 and 9 to win the 2011 DCC 9-Ball!
