"Upgrade/Downgrade" a cue

Gentlemen,

A question that I'm sure have been asked before - I have a butt & forearm six pointer, no veneers, ivory b.cap, that could use some superficial upgrade in terms of ivory sub in and/or around the points - What are the possibilities, if any?

Ivory inlays can usually be added to about any cue. I can add Ivory spear points and/or ivory diamonds, dots, etc. The cue will require a refinish to go along with the inlays so the cost can get kinda high for everything but if it needs refinishing anyway now is the time to to the inlays.
