I guess my original post kind of sucks and is not conveying what I am looking for. I am actually looking for an entire pocket holder with maybe a exotic wood piece and then a chain or something to hold the actual piece of chalk. All the ones on billiards sites and ebay look really cheap.
I didn't make them personally but my partner did. He comes from a family of silversmiths. They are all sterling silver.:thumbup:

Do you happen to know from what planet these"Silversmiths" hail??? Is their appearance similar to that of the human race? Do you know when their ship arrived on planet Earth? I find these new found peoples ( if I may call them that without being offensive) very, very fascinating. :smile::smile:
Don't know if anyone has a way to contact user "onefortheroad," but I picked up one several years back from him that seems to fit your description to a tee (beautifully finished, still works and looks great. Pictures at this post.

Those look great! I've just never been a fan of the chalk holders with the hole on the top. I really like the look of those though.. top-notch!

The hole in my Tiger Eye QPod is on the bottom, its here to assist in the removal of the old chalk. Not like the cheap holders whole in top that scratch an Ivory ferrule.
