Just wanted to give everybody a heads-up - the 2007 US Artistic Pool Open is this weekend in Southington, CT at Shooter's. If you're in the area, you should come check it out. Twenty-five of the best artistic poolplayers will duke it out, shooting some of the most amazing shots ever. Artistic Pool is a genre, a niche, and an ever-growing-in-popularity facet of the sport. As pool fans, show your support!

I wish the players the best of luck!

BTW - if you've never been to an artistic pool tournament, you don't know what you're missing. Check out this promo video from the 2006 World Artistic Pool Championship - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCFDgYKA8ps

Hey bro! Yeah, I can't be there. My graduation is on the 6th and can't be in two places at once - no matter how hard I've tried. ;) I had to choose, but I've worked hard for this, so I'm walking that stage. Will you be in Vegas, cheering me on during the ESPN thing? I'm sure you'll be there in spirit. lol
