US National Amateur

Maybe I missed the thread; but was just curious how everyone who played in the US National Amateur sattelite tournaments over the weekend did?

I played over the weekend and made a good showing but lost the last match before I would have played in the Finals for the trip to Tampa.

How did everyone else who play do?

I played at Art of Billiards in Gainesville and got my head handed to me. Those diamond tables are evil. They really amplified every little fault I had. Everyone playing there seemed pretty firendly and the bartenders were gorgeous. Hopefully I can improve my game and do better next year.

some of us havent played yet the atlanta qualifier was resheduled do to conflicts with other tournaments.

The regional at Ultimate billiards in Ft Pierce Florida had 74 people. 18 women/56 men
winners were Crystal McCormick who beat Amy Poulter in the finals.

In the mens qualifier, I won one of the brackets. Prescott Buckwold won another. The third was won by James (Jimmy) Agate. The last one was won by a guy I forget his name (sorry). He played great though beating a very good player in the semis and cruised in the finals.

Me and Ray Linares will be road tripping it again this year to Tampa.

Congrats on winning one of the available slots! I will have to give it another shot next year.
