It's a unfortunate that Matchroom has the World 9 Ball Championship scheduled on top of this event. (APRIL 6-10, 2022)
A lot of the top players will be in the U.K. and not be able make it to Vegas.
That will give a great opportunity to some of the players not going overseas.

That is a very good question.

Same thing was asked on OnePcket.org and Mark Griffin responded saying it was 2nd year in a row they went on top of his dates-even though he posted the dates for this event first.

It's a unfortunate that Matchroom has the World 9 Ball Championship scheduled on top of this event for the players.
It would have been very convenient for travel with all the top players in Vegas already for the World 10 ball, then having US Open events begin immediately after.
