The Red Roof now has wireless Internet, and for a week 7 days for single is a bit under $400. It is about 200 yards from the venue.

It is less than $50 a night which I think is a pretty good deal.

I was a dumbass & just bought a home computer instead of a laptop... I obviously wasn't thinking too clearly when I did that. Because of this, there's no need for me to get excited about wireless internet service... The laptop will be my next big purchase but quite a ways away. It appears that Nippon, bb, & the one are all staying at the red roof as is myself & Marissa... who is else going to be our hotel neighbors at the red roof??

This is just getting silly now, its a walk from the venue, less than 50 bucks a night, wireless access, all the above staying there, AND open access to 9ballchicks 4 person spa! Isn't there a pool tournament too?

There is another Red Roof in Va Beach (Ballard Court) that is roughly 1/2 mile from QMasters. They have daily rates of <$41.00 if you use the NUTS discount code CP530832
which by the way you can use for any stay any time at any Red Roof- or at least i have. It usually gives a better rate but sometimes the Internet rates are already discounted and the rate is the same but it's worth a try.

You will definitely need a car if you stay at this Red Roof but if you are going to be at QMasters often- it's a good cheap option. There is a Denny's right there too- Gotta love the Grand Slam Slugger for under $7.

Thanks for the offer Timberly. Norfolk Airport is about 15 minutes away from the Holiday Inn (actually, now that I think about it, everything is about 15 minutes away in Chesapeake, LOL). The Holiday Inn has free airport shuttle to and from the hotel and anywhere else you'd like to go to.

Yes Timberly-The Waffle house is excellent-my second choice followed by Cracker Barrel a distant third due to the weakness of their hash browns. The downside to the WH though is the prices. To match the GS Slugger would cost you over $10 which is a psychological barrier for me for breakfast. Plus Waffles get cold fast don't they?

Yeah im afraid my partying days are pretty much over. I kinda over did that a couple of decades ago and now it's out of the question but I'm looking forward to meeting you also. Cya there!
