USBA Endorsed tournaments

Can anyone explain exactly what a "endorsed" tournament is, and how it relates to the USBA? What are the fees involved, etc.

I was wondering if my monthly tournaments could be "endorsed".

USBA Endorsed Events

USBA Endorsed Events are USBA Tournaments that do NOT require the participants to be a USBA Member or pay a $25 tournament participation fee. Instead, each participant is only required to pay a $10 endorsement fee. Endorsed events have fewer player ranking points than sanctioned events and only USBA Members will receive ranking points.
 
Yes. Just like a sanction fee, even USBA members pay them. USBA members get ranking points, non-members do not.
