Using 2 aiming systems

I was able to practice a few hrs of pool the past few nights and noticed after over cutting most of my long shots one night that for me, using 90/90 on longer shots and using CTE on shorter shots helped me out tremendously.

They are both pivot based so wanted to know if anyone that uses an aiming system uses more then 1 at a time.

I use both interchangeably throughout a game or match. Just depends on what my initial lineup was as to which one I use. I do not use the manual pivot anymore except rarely on certain shots.

I'm familiar with several systems, and for a while used 2 interchangeably as well. Right now I'm pretty much focused on 1, with some occasional use of some new stuff I'm working on. I think it's good to have consistency in your approach and movements into the ball, allows you over time to be more unconscious with the routine. Trying to use 1 system for certain types of shots and 1 for another might require too much conscious thought and prevent you from reaching your full potential.

I use way more than 2. The SEE System is my primary method of getting a small ball into a slightly bigger hole. But even with The SEE System, I don't do it completely as Ekkes teaches, I use a variant to accomodate for how I see things. I also use Pro One, 90/90, Parallel Lines, Fractional Aiming, Back of The Ball and HAMB's :). Most of which I don't do by the book either, I've changed them slightly so I can get the most benefit out of them.

The above are just what I use in pool, too. I use others for snooker and English pool. I think you are just limiting yourself if you pick one way and stick with it. There is more than one way to skin a cat as they say :)
