Using hard tips on Mezz Shafts

Has anyone tried putting a hard tip on any of the Mezz Shafts [ Wd700, HP1, HP2, Alpha] and what was the feedback?
I'm addressing myself to the players who normally prefer a harder tip in the range of 80-83, example Talisman H, or Moori Quick, or triangle, etc..

My local pro told me to be careful if I wanted to put a hard tip on my Wd700.. it currently has a kamui brown medium... in his opinion putting a hard tip would not be a good fit on the wd700 .. I suppose it's because of the foamy filling, it's like putting a rock on air ... i suppose... maybe a hard tip would be a better fit on the HpII because of the carbon filling?? anybody tried?

i have hard kamui black tip on my hpII.it hits better than before when i had the original moori medium.and in regards of the wd700,yes he is right.hard tip is not good for it because of that foamy feel on the shaft.when you are hitting balls,it feels like hallow.i had to get rid of my wd700 because of that.

Better info. transmission

I build a hollow front end shaft called the O.M.G.. Early on, R & D suggested, better "feel" and more productive feedback, was achieved, using a medium to hard tip. Now with the use of Kamui chalk, the one drawback to implementing that observation on all my stock shaft sales (miscues), has been eliminated!:wink2:
