Using matte leather conditioner for milk dud

So if you guys remember. I tried to use this specific leather conditioner to make a milk dud. The kind that I used actually worked and worked pretty decently. I have pictures this time. One finished and one just pulled out from soaking for 24hrs. Sorry for the quality, iphone made me compress photos to put them on here. The app I used was crap.

Thanks for sharing. I like making my own milkduds too sometimes. What was the brand of the matte leather conditioner?

Once I get back to the house today, I’ll post a picture of the bottle. I made one a couple weeks ago and took it shooting. So they do hold chalk and shoots about identical to what I’ve read of any milk dud. Just have to see how long it lasts. I was reading a lot about milk duds then got bored one day and decided to experiment lol. I have matte black boots and the stuff nourishes the leather but doesn’t leave a oily residue behind, that’s what made me think this stuff might work well. It definitely does something to the leather of the tip. I wonder if it’s the same process like people say with the Casin of the milk.

When I make my own duds, I try to make them as hard as possible. Is your tip rock hard? I'd love to try this out
