Using my pechauer jump shaft for breaking?

I'm thinking of getting a cue butt to fit my pechauer jump shaft, and use the combined butt and shaft as a break cue. Good idea? Bad idea? Thoughts?

Assume cost is not an issue, and that I'm not necessarily desperately looking for a break cue. I just want to know how this idea would work out, the benefits and drawbacks of it. And how it would still be inferior to a dedicated break cue (and since weight is adjustable in most cues, weight isn't gonna be an issue).

How long is the shaft? For what it's worth break cues on the used market are fairly cheap. I ended up with a Viking crush and punch set for a little over 200 shipped this cue crushes balls. Been very impressed especially for the price....

It's 29 or 30 inches, I don't remember. Definitely long enough for a regular cue.

I'm looking at a $60 and below range for my break cue hahaha
I already actually have a "break cue", it's a mcdermott lucky playing cue with a phenolic leather tip. But I'm looking to use a break cue with a stiffer shaft (which is what I can get with the jump shaft), leading to more efficient energy transfer.

Don't see why it would not work if you like the shaft in general. All you need for a break cue is a harder tip than a playing cue, in general, really anything will work.

More energy transfer, there are very very few break situations that benefit with more power vs accuracy and cueball control. I would take a permanent 5mph less break speed without a thought if I can trade if for putting the cueball with accuracy where I want it. Hunting after break speed I don't think has been a thing since people started paying attention to the rack and break more the last few decades. I can see maybe before the 2000s as going for speed over all else, not so much now.
