I'm a fan of Usps over the others.
it's the most reasonable priced, I sent cue and case combos to cali from pa and it cost around $16.
I sent the same thing to NYc and it cost 33 from Ups.
Also as a buyer I receive cues from cue makers all of the time. I'll pay for next day air and Ups will show up before hours at my business and not bring the item until the following day. My hours havn't changed for 12 years.
Fed ex on the other hand has a habit of leaving a note on my door saying that my package is on the neighbors back porch. Keep in mind I don't know the neighbors and aloto of times the packages are worth over $1000.00.

You can also do the postage, insurance and delivery confirmation on line and schedule to have your mailman pick up the package at your house. I have a post office across from my work so I usually just go there. They have an automated postal machine and then I just hand the package over the counter since it won't fit in the box.
