I ended up being able to make it to this event after realizing I had my wkends mixed up. I got in really late last night / early morning so all I did was enter the payouts and the winners. The stories will follow this evening after I get home from work. I will say that it was a great tournament, ran smoothly, and there are some good stories to follow.... some surprises & upsets. RichR said that he has over 100 pics so once he whittles it down to the good ones, we'll be treated to his ability to capture the moment. ;)

It was a pleasure meeting you too. All I gotta say is you are one big mofo! I'm so glad that I'm on yours & Voodoo Daddy's good side cause I sure wouldn't want to see the bad side. LOL, if I ever become famous & needed body guards, you two are hired for sure! :p

I really wanted to post everything last night when I got home but it was too late. It would've been nice for folks to wake up to the results as opposed to having to ask for them but I just couldn't do it.

I just updated the info in the link. Now all the stories... names, wins, losses, upsets, after hours action... all of that is now posted if anyone is interested in checking it out. ;)

Hey Timberly!

It was great to meet you and remember it this time!:D I'm so glad you were able to come down and enjoy this very well run event.

You know, I'd take you and JAM as writers, Rich R. as the photographer and get JMD to sell the advertising and I think we could put together a pretty fair billiard magazine our own selves! You and Jennie make me feel like I'm there when you write. Thanks for the fill in you filed on Inside Pool. It was very well done!

Hope to see you in Chesapeake! And I'm going to make it to DCC one of these years.

Take care,
Brian in VA

LOL, I think everyone you mentioned above would be PERFECT for the position except me, but thank you for the compliment. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :o I'm a tad long winded and my punctuation is less than desirable. :p

That was the 1st time I had ever tried to do a tourney update in an article type format. It was fun but it was a lot more work (taking notes & then typing it up on the computer) than just jotting down a few names & scores like I usually do. Unfortunately I didn't get to see any of your matches so I didn't get any notes on you. :( I tried to keep up with the forum members like Black-Balled & UgotAction so that the rest of the forum would find it a little more interesting.

I signed up for the CCB tourney, now the biggest hurdle will be getting there. Rich said something about going to bed before 2 am and drinking less... I don't know... he either spoke it in a foreign language or used made up gobbldee gook because I didn't understand it... wasn't in my vocabulary. :D

LOL, I just realized that I left a list of things that I wanted Josh to update me on when he called and I failed to mention them in my write up. I had forgotten about them because they were on a separate pc of paper... here's what I forgot...

Chris L def David Alley 9-6 to put Alley out
Chris L def Chris Futrell 9-8 to eliminate Futrell
Chris L def Jordan Newton 9-6
The finals was one race to 11 which Chris L posted an impressive 11-7 win over Eric Moore.

I also said you could always just stay at the pool room and wait for the rest of us to show up in the morning. This may be your easiest option. :D
