I use this one once or twice a week on 10 tables. No dust at all and works great. Adjustable cleaner head brush... or find/buy one without out brushes that fit it's hose.

Don't know... never used a Rainbow. But, this one is relatively small, easy to clean, easy to carry and works really well.

I think you're showing your (or my) age. When I was around 18 I went for a job, it was selling rainbow vacs. That was in the late 70s. I got as far as showing it to my girl friends mother, then quit. A friend of mine did it as well, he used his to clean his apartment, then quit. They were around 600 dollars, a tough sell in that time period. Plus we were kids, not salesmen.
Seemed to be a good product though, captured the dust in water instead of letting the small stuff get through the filter and into the air.
