Valley Forge - Part II

So every year my life gets put on hold for 3 days for VALLEY FORGE... I play in the tournament and for every minute that I am not in the tournament I am in.... THE PIT... with the best of them... stacking it up, getting stiffed, and cringing when the breaker scratches etc.... all on probably 9 total hours of sleep, if you sleep more then that, you didn't live the experience....

my question is... and I know it has been asked before is...

will valley forge II in August get a good turnout? Many players I have spoken with have expressed interest in going... and most of the usual suspects from the pit have made committments to go... but how big will it get? Im booking a room soon and I wonder if it will be a waste... help?

Frankie - there was just that same tournament in LI, NY where were you? I'll be making an appearance at rockaway next weekend...

Although, I would love to be there for the duration, at this point I only plan on being there for a day in August, tough time a year for me.

Doubtful, Frankie. I'm banging pages to pay Uncle Sam on April 15th! :(

Atlantic City is the last place I want to be with Keith this time of year. :D

Unless ya'll win the lottery or until he gets a few IPT tourneys in, I wouldn't imagine that there's ever a good time to be in AC with Keith. :p

LOL. You got that right. I remember his first words to the pit bosses, who remembered him BTW, at the Turning Stone Casino this year: "There is no other place that I'd rather be." And he meant it, too! :o
