Another year, another SBE. And what fun it was. I travelled 4 hours in a car in a treacherous snow and ice storm (should've been 2 hours tops!) only to spend half the weekend matching up with a guy from my local room. He gave me a monster spot that I just couldn't refuse for some decent money. On a barbox, there was no way I could lose.
...but I did. Moral of the story?? I suck. And not just at pool, at life.
But I digress. 
It was a fun two and half days (I went down on Friday). I got to meet up with a bunch of you and had a great time.
Eric. (and wife Susie) were a lot of fun. Icon of Sin (Heath) was awesome. Great meeting you too. Brooklyn Jay and Linda (Pool Monkey) were there as well, and while I had met them before, it was good to see them there as well.
Got to see Classiccues and shot the shit with him for a while. Hadn't seen him since last year. Joe's a great guy. Saw Cornerman (Fred) for a moment or two. Met Sweet Marissa. And although this may not be the appropriate forum, I got to see JimBo again. And I don't care what others may say. Great guy and funny as hell!
Bogey5431 (Chris), FAST_N_LOOSE (Marcus), Spanky (Mike Badzik), Mike Webb, and a few others: it was great to meet you all. And I have a newfound hatred for all of you. Ya see, when you only know someone as a screen-name, you create your own image of that person in your head. I had pictured all of you to be much older. Then, I met you in person and realized that all of you guys are around the same age as me. And yet, you have more beautiful cues than I have hairs on my head (though these days, that ain't sayin' much)!
All in all, it was a great time. Met a bunch of great people and played some of the worst pool of my life!!! I lost money and never had more fun doing it. See you all next year.
