I just took this cue in on trade and I will not be keeping it so im looking to see what the value of it is. The cue has a birdseye maple forearm with four ebony points outlined with four veneers of natural, blue, yellow, and black. Inside each point is a mother of pearl diamond and two mother of pearl dots. The buttsleave is also ebony with triangle and oval blue veneer work accented by mother of pearl dots and diamonds. There is a maple stitched ring just below the wrap as well. Black and white spec irish linen wrap and stainless steel joint with 5/16x14 pin. The joint and shaft collars say "JOSS" in gold letters. I have two shafts, one 12.75mm the other 12.5mm, both have ivory ferrules and kamuii black tips. The cue weighs 19oz with either shaft and is very straight. One very small ding in the finish of the buttsleave is the only flaw, other than that the cue is in mint shape! Looking for an approximate value as this cue will be up for sale or trade very soon. Any and all info will be apprecitated. Thanks in advance.

Joss cue

Joss was my first decent cue about 12 yrs ago. There was ( or is) a time when this cue would fetch 350-400 on Ebay. Not sure it todays softer market. If shafts have not been over tightened, the word Joss onthe shaft collars is supposed to match straight above the word Joss on the joint collar . Nice cue . Best of luck on your sale or trade. My 2 cents

I'd say you should get between 5 and 650 for that cue. I've had far better luck making money on those old gold letter joss cues on ebay, usually about 150 more than I get offered here.

I love those old joss cues, and that one is one of my favorite models. Think the last one I had like that I got 550 out of it, but don't think it was in as nice of shape.
