Nice cue

You have a great looking cue and I like the Maple Butt Sleeve. As for value, Schick cues are great cues, but demand for them is not as strong as it use to be. I would still say in this horrible market you will see $2500 minimum for the cue if it is rolling straight and in great condition. In a good market, I think this cue would start in the mid to high 3K ... maybe fetch more.

We all know Schick is making fewer and fewer cues these days and most cues out of his shop are priced well over 3K (he last told me that was the minimum for his starter cues).

Anyone know how many cues he produced so far?

Thanks SS for the info. I think I will email Bill with some pics and ask for his opinion. This cue was made in the 90's and in all original condition.

$40.50. But I'll go out on a limb and offer you $50!!! I really like this design and the wood selection. I have always been a sucker for reversepoints. I would say it is comparable to the one rdwell had for sale a month or so ago although his had floating points. If I had it I would hold onto it until the market gets better, although select cues like this may bring the $$$ to the right buyer.

Im not a fan of asking a cuemaker what a cue is worth. They can tell you what they would charge to build it, but they are usually poor at market value/

With the market down I think your $2500 is about what it will bring. Maybe a few hundred more if you really shop hard for a buyer.
