Varney cues

MaskedMan

Who is this masked man?
I shoot with a Varney made in 1996, and I think it hits better than a Capone or a Predator. Anyone else prefer the feel and hit of a Varney to other more well-known cuemaker's swords?

I had to look at his other post...thought for sure he'd be a buddy of mine...but nope...I honestly don't know the guy. I do like him though!:D
MaskedMan, I must be honest with you. I hope your cue does not say "96"...in 1996 I was still mgr. of Mothers in Charlotte. My first official cue was not until 1999. I hope someone with a pen didn't make a quick dollar off you. Even so...you have a cue you love...so all is good. Look closely...maybe its faded over time, but it should say: "Varney - 1999".
If you have a pic, I could validate it for you. Thank you for the kind words.:)
And yes, I do know a little something about how great cues are suppose to hit. Before becoming a cuemaker I used to play with Southwest, Joe Gold/Cog, W.Hunter, B.Hunter, Dishaw, Capone, Gilbert, Samsara, TS...just to name a few. Over time you develop a feel for whats exceptional.;)
