Here is a nice purpleheart Dufferin house cue conversion I just completed for an AZ'er. This cue was at least 20yrs old. Makes a very sweet j/b...complete with lam shaft & satin finish.

All business indeed my friend...no frills...just performance. This is the type j/b cue I make for myself...except I pick the ugliest blank and a shaft with the most horrid looking sugar marks and streaks. Seems the "ugly" wood appreciates not being trashed and says "thank you" by being an excellent performer. I've seen it multiple times...the shaft with the best performance will be the ugliest one.:thumbup:
