Just ordered myself a Varney sneaky pete .
I asked Kevin what he thinks would be the best combination for my kind of play and he came up with this :

Goncalo Alves into maple , radial pin ( my choice ) with one of his low deflection shafts .

Can't wait to get my hands on this baby .

what is your style of play and why did he /you feel that combo was best??

I come from snooker and turned to pool playing with a Z2-shaft because i like low deflection . I also like a cue with a solid hit and he told me this woodcombination is the way to go .
I heard from others too that this is a very good combination for a sneaky .
My review will be posted here an i'm sure this will be from a happy poolplayer .
By the way are there people here playing with this woodcombination ?

i own one of kevins cues w solid maple shafts
one of the best shooting cues made.............................................
i dont know about kevins LD shafts i havent tried one yet.

The answer is Correct !!

If Jerry Franklin were alive he would agree !! Kevin puts his heart and soul into his cues!!!!! and it has almost cost him his life!! And Kevins prices are far cheaper than SW. I have worked with KV and damm proud of it!!! mark
