Here is a used but extremely nice little fullsplice. This is an Alves into maple fullsplice that simply hits like a dream. The cue was owned by a quality player that took great care of it...both the shaft & butt are dent free & smooth like new. I just took the cue in on trade tonight. The cue is 58" & weighs 18.6oz and can be adjusted a bit up or down. The pin is the big fat SW style brass 3/8-10. The collars & buttcap are the no longer made mahogany phenolic...the ringwork is dashed Micarta & the Hoppe ring is Elforyn. The alves has some very nice figure & color...if you aren't familiar, alves is extremely dense and one of the very finest woods for pure hit quality. Jerry Franklin once told me that alves was one of his top two favorite woods and I absolutely agree. The points are all sharp and very even. The shaft is 12.7mm and features a very durable Porper ferrule that stays clean & resist chalk stains...the tip is a fresh Emerald from Tiger. The cue is straight apart & together. I'm going to list this cue too cheap as my Christmas special for a fast sell. My new plain jane true sneakies sell for $375 + shipping.
