I'll be in Vegas for a medical convention until Wednesday. Are there any pool halls with decent tables? I leave for my flight at 3pm and may or may not bring my cue.

Im not really an expert on Vegas but I only heard of anyone going to 2 places during the BCA's Vegas-Pool Sharks and the Cue Club. I went to both- Neither is any great shakes from am aesthetic point of view but there could be good action at either one.

I would not bother with your cue. To much hassle checking it on the plane.
There is the Cue Club on Sahara. Not the greatest neighborhood. Pool Sharks is a little nicer but any will be tough to get to without a car.
There's plenty else to do. Good luck.:D

In all fairness, I think Danny was leaving a casino downtown NPR I guess?

SM,
Don't let anyone dissuade you. Take your cue and have fun...

I know you know this already but be careful around Vegas. The Cue Club is not the safest place around.
I think that Pool Sharks might be your best bet.
