Verl Horn Balabushka Tribute Cue. I purchased this from AZ member Trigger earlier this year to use as my playing cue and shot with it for about a month. I then reacquired my Tucker that Murray built for me in 2003 so this has been sitting in the case since. Here are the specs:

Ebony 4 point into birdseye forearm with natural, green, red and black veneers. Notched mother of pearl diamonds and a ivory/silver ring. Stainless steel joint with 5/16x14 pin and black and silver joint collars.

The shafts are the same length, not counting the ferrules but 1 one of the Ivory ferrules is a 1/4" longer because it needed to be replaced due to crack in it. Murray Tucker did the ferrule replacement for me.

White/Green spec Irish Linen and one of the best wraps I have ever felt..

The cue was refinished by Proficient Billiards before I got it and is fantastic condition.

This cue has actually sold as a Balabushka a couple of times and hits like a Bushka. The bumper was verified to be a Balabuska bumper.

Shaft 1 - 4.1oz and 28 3/4" (1 1/4" ferrule)
Shaft 2 - 3.9oz and 28 1/2" (1" ferrule)
Butt - 16.3oz and 28 1/2"
Weight bolt in the butt is 0.4oz

The cue comes with the Palmer like case pictured.

$1350 shipped in the CONUS and PayPal preffered. I would prefer cash but would consider a partial cash/case trade for a custom case case like a Justis, Whitten, etc. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

Very nice and tempting, but seeing the weight, its a little too much for me. I play with around 18-19.5oz cues.

One of the Prettiest Veneer Arrangement

I know there's nothinbg special about the veneers or ebony points on this cue but as far as I'm concerned, it looks just fantastic. Gosh, what a nice looking cue but like Maestro, my playing preference is for a lighter cue.

That's not a knock on this cue because most Balabushka designed cues from what I've seen tend to be heavier than I prefer playing with ranging from 19.5 ozs to almost 21 ozs. But the added attraction this cue has is it was made by Verl Horn and so there's more than good looks involved.

I've never played with a Verl Horn cue but everything I've read about them has been nothing but praise. And with this cue's great looks, that has to be a winning combination.

I loved this cue when Trigger was selling it, and I still love it now.

It's the epitome of old school, right down to the 28.5" length.

I wonder if Scott could remove the weight bolt, and what that would do to the balance point?

Where is the balance point now?

Awesome cue, very tempting, indeed.

Very nice cue, I'm a Verl Horn fan,(Avatar), they play as old school as a Gus or George. His attention to detail was top notch also. This cue will sell fast.
