Verl Horn Balabushka style cue with a
Burton Spain blank. 4 points of ebony
into straight grain maple with MOP
inlays in each point. Ebony butt sleeve
with MOP inlays. Only one shaft, but
a Tascarella shaft would be perfect if a
2nd shaft is desired, the existing shaft
plays great imo. Cue is in 85 to 90%
condition with your typical signs of play. The
bumper has a small piece chipped off, as
you can see in a couple of the pics. Both the
butt and shaft are straight. Smooth and soft
leather wrap. Great playing cue with the old
school hit.

Butt: 16.4 oz. 5/16 x 14 pin
Shaft : 3.9 oz. 12.65 mm. Good stuff
ferrule with Kamui Brown md tip.

Absolutely a beauty.....great look.....the sleeve reminds me of the GTB cue that I think is owned by Mark K. at Classic cues......this cue is just pretty.....Nuf Ced!
 
Rumor was that Verl was making counterfeits

the truth was,he made these in honor of george
i knew him well,i saw him sell several of these

i bought several from him,this was my favorite design
i have had others make me tributes like these as well

Verl got a hold of an authentic 'bushka and had it x-ray'd to see how the butt was assembled. They were/are about as close to the real deal other than one of Pete's masterpieces. This is really a sweet cue for sale. Kinda jealous of who gets it.
