This beautiful Verl Horn Cue features a gorgeous Burton Spain straight grain forearm with the sunset veneers and his Bushka ring with inlays in the ebony points. Prather rear probably with alternating inlays. Buttcap is delrin. The rear is Balabushka tribute on the inside. Spot on.
Mismatched shafts.
Butt weight 16.45 straight and solid.
One looks like Verl Hoern shaft. Very heavy 4.3 ozs slight wobble.
The other shaft could almost pass for a Balabushka and I was told this by Denny but it is only a 3.9 oz shaft so very unlikely. Sometimes it hits with a click.
The Cue is a absolute knock out. It is used condition. This is a very old Cue for Verl. The Cue was authenticated for me by a few sources up at Paul Drexler's shop. With all this in mind the cue hits very solid and very straight Balance is in a good place to move the ball easily with control. In the picture with the fronts it is the bottom Cue. In the picture with the rears it is the bottom Cue. And it is on the left in the picture with the pins
Thanks for looking,
Nick :)
Partial trades and offers welcome.

Those are nice, had one just like it and a few other Horn cues I was lucky enough to spend a few afternoons with Verl when I was in the Air Force stationed at Altus. Verl was a good cuemaker and a really great story teller.

Nice offering. A little confused, I see two cues in the photos. Which cue is the one available for sale? I may have missed something in the description. Thanks!

Sunset veneers. Bottom Cue 1st and 2nd picture. The joint and shafts on the left.
Thanks for asking,
Nick :)

I have the sister cue to this cue. People just don't realize what great well made cues Verl made.

Thank you,
I will put it up soon.
Something about it reminds me of the old very pretty Balabushkas.
It is the hit.
No it is the veneers.
Taste great less filling!

Nick :)
