Very rare 1970’s Paul Huebler Custom Shop box cue with 3 original shafts. Ebony forearm with 2 larger veneer surrounded ivory boxes along with 2 smaller veneer surrounded ivory boxes and ivory inlays with red veneer trough them above and below the veneer surrounded boxes. Butt sleeve in maple with 4 veneer ebony surrounded boxes inlayed with ivory inlays that have red veneers inlayed on both ended and ivory dash ring work. Cue has an ivory joint with ivory “Bushka” style joint rings, Specs for the butt and shafts are:
Butt: 28 ½ inch, 15.44 ounces.
Shaft 1: 28 ¼ inch, 3.24 ounces, 12.34 mm
Shaft 2: 28 inch, 3.46 ounces, 12.23 mm
Shaft 3: 29 ½ inch, 3.26 ounces, 12.11 mm
The butt and all 3 shafts are surprisingly straight for a cue that is around 50 years old. The finish on the butt is thin with numerous dings as this cue was not a closet queen and was well used by its owner. I am selling this cue for its second owner who bought the cue around 1979 from its original owner in Florida. I have only saw pictures of one other Huebler like this cue. I can not ship this cue to California, New Jersey, or New York due to all of the ivory in the cue. I am located just outside of Philadelphia and am offering a $100 discount for local pickup.
