Viattorre Custom Cues, & Cues out of Asia, and Off-Shore Places, Good, Great, or

Was recently surfing, and came across Viattorre Custom Cues Web-Site.

http://www.viattorre.com

Apparently these Cue are being made in the Philippines. Has anyone seen this produce first hand, and have knowledge of it.

Is the Wood aged to prevent warp age, is the construction good, is detail work as good as the pictures look on the Web-site, how do the Cues Hit, and Play?

Are there any other Filipino, Asian made Cue being produce at the quality level of some of the better American Cuemakers?

Anyone with first hand knowledge of good Off-Shore Cuemakers are, and who you would you avoid in Off-Shore Cuemakers.

Last are the Off-Shore made Cues, really that much less expensive compared with a like Cues from an WELL Respected American Cuemakers?

From the Phillipines, Edwin Reyes is among the top makers - his cues are high end, demand is high and the prices are up there.

I think Viattorre is now equal to american custom cue makers and they have excellent customer service.

I do think there is an issue with items made in the tropics and sent to a different climate, but not from these two makers. They know their materials and would take the proper precautions in storage, shipping etc.

Jackson's Cues

Hi,

I ordered a custom cue from Jackson and he is still working on it. I promised him not to publish any pictures before the cue will be completly ready, but I will as soon as it is here.

From what I have experienced so far I can truly say that Jackson offers first grade service to his customers. Every customer has a private section on his website where you can follow the progress. Jackson really puts a lot of effort in this in terms of updating this area (This is also a big torture for the customer sitting in front of the screen waiting for the cue..:-)
The quality of his work is outstanding. To me he belongs to the top notch makers now!

Regards,
Markus
