Thank you Scaramouche! The game that I'm dying to see is the final game of
Efren against Jimmy White! That was a classic! Any chance you have this too?
 
An 8pack against Souquet, then a 9-pack against Bustamante in the same tournament. This was the year Efren won the whole thing. None of those packages had a 9 on the break, or a 9ball combo. He ran all of them out.
 
Great stuff. It doesn't get any better than that, or if it does, I've never seen it.
 
Hellooo... anyone read my post?? According to the video Efren only run 8 rack against Busta, on rack 14 Efren miss the combination n Django run out

When busty leaded efren 3-2 efren ran out 8 racks
3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10
and then efren missed a long combo when he want to run out 11

I think its his best perform in wpc~~

oh ic ic, so I guess they miss the 6th rack. Thx for clearing it up.
So anyone got a link to that 6th rack when Efren trailing by 2-3?
 
I believe Efren also ran some 8 Pack in his match against Mike Lebron during the same '99 WPC. that match was before his encounter with Ralf Souquet. I can still remember what Mike said during that match, "Did you make any balls?". Mike said this right after Efren ended his break and run-outs in every rack. When Efren ended his run, he was already at the hill. Mike lost his stroke for sitting there for more than half an hour (IIRC) and could not recover from that huge deficit.
So that's 3 consecutive 8 packs on 3 different matches leading to the finals. boy, he's smokin then !

at present, Efren still does a 5-pack on average. pretty scary for an old man. :eek:

as long as his breaks are workin. the only few times that Efren lost is whenever his breaks abandons him. regardless of difficult layouts, as long as he has his chances on the table, he would likely to win.
