Viewing 2014 World Snooker Chamnpionship - April 19 - May 5

Ronnie's is off and leading 10-7 only need 8 more
Greatest snooker player this century and soon to be greatest ever

A freaking monster, thats what he is.
Biggest natural talent in the history of billiards?

In the finals, Selby has now won 6 frames in a row (2 yesterday and all 4 so far today) to take an 11-10 lead.

It's best of 35 frames.

Frame 23 was the longest of the match so far, with many safeties. With the score 67 - 57 in his favor, O'Sullivan missed a short pink to the side pocket that would have won the frame. He seemed to be trying for position on the black when he didn't need it; perhaps he misread the scoreboard.

Selby then potted the pink and black to win the frame and take a 12 - 11 lead into the final session later today.

So Selby went from 7 - 10 down at the start of the session to 12 - 11 ahead.

Under any other circumstance, most people would bet on Ronnie to make that pink 99 times out of 100. Amazing that he missed it but pressure gets to everyone!

I bet on myself make that ball 100/100.
Make me remember about one of the most important lesson I've learned in pool.
Everybody misses, even the best, so when you miss, let it go . Hope that Ronnie can let it go, love to see him win it 3 times in a row.
A must watch video for all the pool players.

Wow, crazy miscalculation by Ronnie on pink.
Ronnie will turn it on on last lap which start about half hour from now.
His semi final match and last few frames has taken its toll on Selby so momentum should shift to Ronnie. We should have another 6 time World Champion a few hours from now :grin-square:

selby's got some fight in him, bit of bad luck, and nerves seems to have held him back in the last frame. If ronnie catches a gear, it will be over.

wooo Ronnie is galloping...................... 89-0 first frame of this session

100-0 Century break from Ronnie 12-12
He is unstoppable :)

I've never watched snooker live before. This is crazy stressful... It was wild how close Ronny got to hiding the cue behind the black at the end of the last frame.

Well, O'Sullivan followed that by losing 3 frames in a row. It's now 15 - 12 Selby. O'Sullivan would have to beat him 6 to no more than 2 from here out. Over for Ronnie? Or big come-back?

No opinion I am totally uninformed on the subject. My total knowledge of the game aside from the book classical snooker by rearden is having just finished running Ronnie's book.

I have hit a few racks on a snooker table over the years. But no real play.

My first time watching it live as well (although I've watched plenty of matches on YouTube).

Very stressful/exciting to say the least.
